The Common Admission Test is
highly competitive exam for candidates who wants to take admission in MBA or
equivalent management courses in top institutes such as IIMs and other top
business schools all over India. CAT checks a candidate’s aptitude in areas
such as verbal ability, quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and data
interpretation.

Education Qualification
The candidate who wants to appear
for CAT exam should have bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from
recognized university. The candidates in the final year of their undergraduate
program are also eligible to apply, but they must complete their degree
requirements before the admission process starts.
Age Limit
There is no restriction on age of
candidate for appearing in the CAT exam.
Nationality
The Indian citizens as well as
foreign nationals, can apply for the CAT exam. However, forever nationals need
to meet additional criteria set by individual institutes.
Number of Attempts
It has no limit on the number of
attempts. You can appear for the CAT as many times as you want, provided you
meet the eligibility requirements.
Work Experience
The work experience is not
compulsory for the CAT exam, but various top business schools value it during the
selection process.
