Our rigorous and intellectual curriculum focuses on worldly pursuits across five schools: the FLAME School of Business, Communication and Design, the FLAME School of Computing and Data Sciences, the FLAME School of Liberal Education, and the FLAME School in the Arts and Performance. A Research Advisory committee (RAC) consisting of experts in the field will be constituted for each PhD candidate and will be the main body guiding the candidate in their research work. The RAC will have a Research Supervisor (a senior member of the faculty who will be the convener of the committee), a co-research Supervisor, one or more eminent scholars (internal or external), and the operational head of the area in which the doctoral work is conducted.

A monthly stipend ranging between Rs.20,000/- to Rs.30,000/- will be provided to the PhD candidate enrolled under the Flame University Fellowship Scheme. 50,000/- with biennial increments as per University policy for 4 years from the date of admission. Candidates on fellowship will also be given financial assistance to attend select national and international conferences and a contingency grant of Rs.25,000/- per annum during the doctoral program.
Candidates on fellowship will be provided with on-campus accommodation subject to availability or compensated with house rent allowance as per University policy.
Candidates who are not on fellowship will be governed by the same rules that apply to fellowship candidates for program completion requirements. In addition, conference support and contingency grants are not applicable to non-fellowship candidates.

FLAME trains students in the classroom and for the boardroom alike. We have special modules to help students prepare for their placements. FLAME conducts mock interviews and workshops which help students prepare for companies visiting the campus. Training modules help students sharpen their communication skills, teach them what to expect in interviews and how to prepare for them. Flame realizes that a training module serves as a rehearsal before the actual interview. However, preparation helps the students to perform better in their recruitment interviews.
Through its Developmental Activities Program (DAP), Discover India Program (DIP), and Summer Internship Program (SIP), FLAME University vigorously promotes experiential learning as an essential component of education. These are required projects for every understudy to go through and experience.
An experiential learning component of the undergraduate degree program is the Summer Internship Program (SIP). The SIP aims to provide students with a platform for integrating classroom knowledge with related practical applications and skills in a professional ecosystem. It is a mandatory four-credit, eight-week program that runs from the end of April to the middle of July.
